True fact about School Resumption


Questions  have been asked by university students Nationwide about when schools will resume. So we decided to put up a post here for you guys, so please read to the end.

Before Before the outburst of the deadly Coronavirus pandemic and the total lockdown order by the federal government, we had an indefinite ASUU strike which has not been called off yet.
There are so many fake news online, on many fake blogs and by attention seeking upcoming influencers that schools would resume back in September or 1st Of June it’s false don’t believe them, same way they said it will resume on 4th of May and today is 16th.
Schools will resume after the Coronavirus pandemic, and it’s either when there is no increase in the cases or when the figures starts reducing, that is when we find a good vaccine for it.
The FG has already ordered the Madagascar herbal cure so let’s be optimistic and keep praying.
So for now there is no resumption date, even if there is any proposed date by FG or ASUU there are little or no chances it wouldn’t be postponed.

NIGERIAN UNIVERSITIES APPROVED FOR POST GRADUATE PROGRAMMES BY NUC

The National Universities Commission (NUC) has updated the list of approved post-graduate awarding institutions in Nigeria. The commission said it observed that some Nigerian universities are running unapproved post-graduate programmes, leading to the award of Masters and PhD degrees. “The commission has also observed some parastatals and institutes awarding these same post-graduate degrees, either on their own or through unapproved affiliation with Nigerian and foreign universities,” it said. According to the commission, such practices are not only unethical, “but also antithetical to time -tested quality assurance best practices”. “The commission hereby notifies the general public that only the following universities have the approval to offer post-graduate programmes at the Masters’ and PhD levels in Nigeria.” A bulletin from the office of the Executive Secretary dated March 23 contains the list of federal, state and private universities currently allowed to issue such certificates
